What sort of law does the firm practise?

Judith and Chris are true general practitioners although we specialise in family law.

How much do Medlicotts charge?The base rate is $270 (+GST) per hour for Judith and Chris.

We retain the right to charge above these rates where there are special factors involved and we may reduce our fees where the benefit to the client does not justify charging the standard rate. We are happy to arrange time payment where immediate payment in full is difficult.

We prefer to bill regularly throughout a particular matter but will defer this where clients’ circumstances warrant.

We act for clients who are eligible for Legal Aid – this rate is generally $140 per hour GST inclusive.
